Duty Manager                                                                                                                               

Salary:  £20,200 per annum (FTE £27,000 per annum)

Hours:  30 hours a week

We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic duty manager to join our team. With experience from a customer focused background, you will deliver consistently excellent customer service and be capable of managing all   aspects of the visitor experience.

The successful candidate will manage, support and motivate a team in a busy customer-facing organisation, leading by example and having a positive attitude. The role includes ensuring the Team is welcoming and that all visitors have a great experience and are encouraged to visit us again. You will deal with any customer queries in a professional and caring manner upholding the highest of standards at all times.

You will be responsible for the opening and closing of the centre and ensuring that all operational and security procedures are adhered to. The science centre is open 7 days per week, with evening events taking place throughout the year so a flexible approach and the ability to work to a rota system is essential. Normal hours are 30 per week, but ideally, you will have the flexibility to work more hours if required.
