We’re a charity and our mission is to inspire everyone in North East England to explore and enjoy science and to discover its relevance to their own lives. Our lives are increasingly shaped by changes in science and technology – so there’s a lot of great work to be done.

We need people with a range of skills and talents to make this happen. Whether it’s ‘front of house’ in the Science Centre, behind the scenes in finance or marketing or keeping the whole site tip top and sparkling – you will be doing your bit to make a difference.

We’re based in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne - right next to the Central Station. Our distinctive Life logo shines out across the city and is a welcome beacon for people travelling into Newcastle by rail or road. Our logo reflects our culture - it’s vibrant, warm and slightly quirky!
